The first week of the #photoadayjuly challenge is going well. I’m remembering to make sure my camera makes it in my bag in the morning and that it comes back out again to take a photo or two. My days lately have ranged between being non-stop busy and quite empty. There is so much that I need to get done in the next week and so much stuff to organize before I head home. Which made finding the perfect Day 2 photo quite easy.
Day three was slightly more difficult as there really were several lovely bits: a parcel with a sweet surprise, a delicious meal, and watching the Boy almost figure out that he doesn’t need to move his knees quite some much while working on kicking in swimming lessons. Which totally had me in flashbacks over when I was the child in the swimming group who did the exact same thing. He is definitely my son. Anyway, back to the photo. I settled on a shot of my toes at the end of the bath tub. I spent most of my uninterrupted bath reading my kindle and sipping coffee. It was bliss.

Day 4 with the prompt ‘Fun’ proved most difficult. Today was one of those days that was spent running errands and getting things done, but nothing really fun. Doctor appointments aren’t fun. Waiting to have blood drawn isn’t fun. Trying on about twenty white dresses to find one I actually like wasn’t much fun. Eating leftovers because both Hubby and the Boy just wanted beans on toast, no.
The only thing that seems remotely fun was starting to use all the materials the Boy has been stashing away to begin building Optimus Prime. So today’s photo is of what will be Optimus Prime’s feet. Can you imagine it? I think I can.
