I first came across the Ultimate Britmums Live Meme when I saw Transatlantic Mom do it this week. I know she didn’t tag anyone, but I thought I’d give it a go anyway.
The Rules
It’s Simple, just copy the nosey questions, and paste them within your own post, followed by your own answers. Tag another 2-4 bloggers to do the same (alerting them to the meme) tip (it’s a good idea to make sure they are attending before tagging them)! Ultimate BritMums Live Meme
Q: What’s your blog title/URL and how long have you been blogging?
A: I’ve been blogging at American Mom in England since January 2009, but I started my first blog back in 2000. I’m launching another blog project soon, but I’m not ready launch it yet.
Q: Will BritMums Live be your First blogging conference?
A: No, I’ve been to both BlogCamp Manchester and BlogCamp Birmingham. This is my first 2-day conference though!
Q: Did you bag yourself a sponsor?
A: No, my trip is self-funded.
Q: Are you attending both days?
A: Yes! I’m very much looking forward to a Saturday morning where the Boy doesn’t wake me before the sun rises.
Q: What are you most looking forward to about the conference?
A: Meeting other bloggers, hopefully drinking good coffee, and returning home inspired.
Q: Are you wearing Branded Clothing ( your sponsors brand)?
A: I’m not sponsored, so no!
Q: What is your planed style for this event?
A: Debating between jeans and a dress, may wear both!
Q: Are you hoping to be nominated for a BiB award?
A: Not this year.
Q: if so what category?
A: Once again, not this year and to be completely honest I don’t even know what the categories are.
Q: Will you be looking to network with Brands?
A: I’m primarily looking forward to networking with other bloggers and then looking at speaking with a few brands, well really mostly just LEGO.
Q: What do u hope to walk away having gained from the conference?
A: A couple brilliant ideas. New friendships. A sense of community.
Q: Will you be dressing up in the toilets for the Friday night BiBs?
A: Yeah, no.
Q: Are you speaking at the conference and if so when, where and how do you feel about doing so?
A: Nope.
Q: Will you be joining in the early morning bloggercise on the Saturday?
A: Possibly, although this is probably dependent upon how late I sleep in!
Q: What speakers are you most looking forward to listening to?
A: Ruby Wax, Sarah Brown, and Everyone delivering the Bloggers’ Keynote.
Q: What workshops will you be attending on the Friday (Day 1)
A: I honestly don’t know; they all look good.
Q: What Workshops being held on the Saturday (Day 2) have grabbed your attention?
A: Definitely attending Blogging for the Greater Good, but beyond that I’m undecided.
Q: Are u booked into a hotel for the Friday night, if yes which one?
A: Not a hotel, but have a bed in a flat thanks to Sandra (@kidsbeehappy)!
Q: Will you be looking for after party drinks?
A: Friday night with the Expats, definitely yes.
Q: Are u worried about not knowing anyone or being confident and socialising on the day?
A: I honestly am not worried at all.
Q: What’s are you most likely to be found doing why attending Britmums Live?
A: Good question. I’ll probably be tweeting and drinking lots of coffee.
