I’ve noticed a trend when it comes to my blog posts that I’m not entirely content with.
You see, I’ve become one of those people who has dozens of blog posts that were started, but never finished.
Some of the unfinished posts sitting in my dashboard are memes that I was tagged in months ago. Some of the unfinished posts are lists that I thought it would be fun to create, such as the top ten reasons I’ll never really become British. Some of the unfinished posts are emotional outbursts, began during trying moments.
Do you have piles of unpublished or unfinished blog posts? Do you ever attempt to finish off a blog post began months previously? How do you avoid getting stuck with lots of unfinished posts?
In an attempt to put this horrible trend to rest, my blogging goal this week is to finish off and post all of those blogs I’ve started and never published. I’m sure a lot of them will be a load of rubbish, but then I’m sure a lot of the blogs that I do are a load of complete rubbish.
Most of all, I’m hoping that when I’ve finished off and published all of those unfinished posts the feeling of despair over them I feel every time I log onto my blogger dashboard will be gone! I want blogging to feel fun again. After all, I don’t blog because I have to. Blogging isn’t a chore or obligation, it’s something I do for me and I want it to feel that way once again!
What do you do when you feel your blogging mojo waning? What motivates you in those times when you don’t feel inspired to blog?
